Vision Innovation Partners (“VIP”), a leading Mid-Atlantic eye care platform, today announced the opening of a new ambulatory surgery center (“ASC”) in Frederick, Maryland. The new center will provide patients with expanded access to specialized ophthalmic surgical services.

The Maryland Vision Institute Surgical Center is dedicated exclusively to outpatient eye surgery, offering a range of procedures including cataract and lens implant surgery, refractive surgery and LASIK, glaucoma surgery, and select ocular cosmetic procedures. Featuring a state-of-the-art operating suite and dedicated pre- and post-operative recovery areas, the facility will allow patients to access specialized surgical care closer to home.

The opening represents another milestone in VIP’s continued expansion in Frederick, following its acquisition of Frederick Eye Institute and the opening of an ophthalmology clinic at the same location earlier this year. Together, these developments further strengthen VIP’s ability to serve the community’s eye care needs through an expanded network of clinical and surgical services.
